Hi, my name is Latifah. I’m a tattoo artist, a proud veteran, and a Houston native with a deep love for creativity, connection, and expression through art.

Tattooing began as something personal, just me, a needle, and a desire to create something meaningful. I started practicing on myself, then on a few close friends who believed in me. It wasn’t about building a business at first; it was about finding a way to process emotions, to tell stories on skin, and to take ownership of my identity in a powerful, visual way.

Over time, what started as a private outlet turned into something much bigger. I fell in love with the process, the care behind every line, the energy exchanged between artist and client, and the way a tattoo can make someone feel seen, understood, or healed. I’ve completed over 100 tattoos so far, many of them on my own body, and each one represents a lesson learned, a risk taken, or a moment of growth.

As an artist, I care deeply about intention. I believe a tattoo should be more than just ink, it should be personal, powerful, and timeless. I take pride in listening to the stories behind each design, making sure my clients feel heard, safe, and excited throughout the entire process.

Right now, I’m in a phase of transition. I’m actively seeking an apprenticeship or internship with an experienced artist or studio that values craftsmanship and mentorship. I want to keep learning, refining my technique, and surrounding myself with people who are just as passionate about tattooing as I am. I believe in collaboration, in giving back, and in honoring the roots of this art form while still evolving it with my own perspective.

If you’ve connected with my work and want to book a session, or if you’re an artist open to mentoring, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach out anytime through the Contact page.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio. Your time, interest, and support mean everything.
